Peter Benedict is a sixth-generation member of the Andrus Family. Through his connection with the Surdna Foundation, he has participated in many Board Education Training cohorts (BETs). These experiences have fostered meaningful discussions on topics ranging from social justice to the intricacies of the grant-making process and the responsibilities of serving on a non-profit board. He graduated from Elon University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics in 2022 and is currently based in New York City as a research associate for Preqin.
