Ms. Preetha Nooyi
Principal, US Business Development, Noetic Fund
Preetha is Principal, US Business Development for Noetic Fund, and is based in New York City. At Noetic Fund, Preetha engages with individuals and institutions seeking to invest in the mental health and psychedelic sector.
Prior to joining Noetic Fund, Preetha worked at Lindsay Goldberg as Vice President Consumer Brands, where she conducted operational diligence on businesses in the consumer-packaged goods sector for acquisition or investment. During this time, Preetha worked closely with founders and owner/operators in the food, beverage, beauty, and personal care sectors, advising them on their product pipelines, go-to-market strategies, marketing creative, and competitive sets. Before that, Preetha worked at Hain Celestial Group and Estee Lauder Companies on their M&A and product development teams, respectively.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Preetha helped her home state of Connecticut as Marketing Director for 4-CT, Connecticut’s statewide COVID recovery nonprofit. During this time, she wrote and directed two PSAs that shared the stories of Connecticut citizens ineligible for funding through the CARES Act and focused on fundraising to provide direct financial aid to this underserved group. Preetha’s writing on those PSA’s resulted in her receiving a New England regional Emmy nomination.
Preetha is an active philanthropist and is passionate about leadership development and training. She is a facilitator for Yale School of Management’s Interpersonal Dynamics class, is a Junior Board Member for Nest Partnerships, and an Executive Board Member of the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. At the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, Preetha designed and implemented a jam-style music class at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music to help students take creative risks, build connection and communication, and learn to improvise: something classical music students often struggle with. She is also a local bluegrass and country musician and has performed at Rockwood Music Hall, Opry City Stage, Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, Keyport Music Festival, and Porchstomp Folk Festival.
Preetha received her B.A. from Hamilton College and her M.B.A. from Yale School of Management
