Josh Tanenbaum is a member of the Firm’s Global Financial Services practice focused on Asset Management and Alternative Investments, as well as a founding member of Impact Investing Center of Expertise.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Josh launched Clearstone Group an impact investing and social enterprise advisory firm. Clearstone works with Family Offices, Endowments and Foundations on deal and manager sourcing and due diligence, as well as assisting Social Enterprises on capital acquisition, business development and strategic partnerships. Josh previously founded a music technology social enterprise.
He started in Financial Services at Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley in their respective private wealth management divisions. Josh started his career at Third Way as a Clean Energy Economic Analyst.
Mr. Tanenbaum currently serves as Senior Advisor to TAU Investment Management, an impact private equity fund focused on transforming global supply chains, and Founding Venture Partner of the White House-backed, NOW Ventures.
As an evangelist for Impact Investing, Josh has spoken at such forums as The White House, The University of Maryland Smith School of Business, The University of Michigan Ross School of Business, Nexus Global Youth Summit, and recently, he judged the President Clinton-backed Hult Prize.
Mr. Tanenbaum currently sits on the boards of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation and the Polonsky Foundation, and serves as the Treasurer of the Council of Young Jewish Presidents. He is also a Young World Fellow of the Duke of Edinburgh International Award.
Josh graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia where he earned a dual Bachelor of Arts in Politics & International Studies and Sociology. He also studied Public Policy at University College London.
