Founder and CEO Australy International
Matthew is the founder and CEO of Australy International, a boutique investment and advisory firm headquartered in New York City with employees in Miami, London and Hong Kong. He is an experienced financial services executive across asset management and investment banking (mergers & acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, capital markets, emerging market equities and derivatives). Matthew began his career as an accountant at Ernst and Young and spent over 5 years with JPMorgan Chase in the Consumer, Healthcare and Retail Investment Banking and Institutional Asian Equities and Derivatives groups before launching the Latin American investment vehicle Everlight Capital. He later joined the private family office investment vehicle Cap-Meridian Ventures as a partner.
Matthew is an investor in, and director of, Andina Acquisition Corporation II, Kaptyn, Kibble Pet, a non-executive director of BeMe Intimates and Selong Selo Developments and has invested in and structured many other successful direct investments. He is senior advisor to P3 Global Management. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Finance and Accounting, and a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biomedical Sciences, both from the University of Queensland, Australia. He has FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licences.
He serves on the board and various event committees of philanthropic organizations including; The Johns Hopkins Kata Institute for Stroke Recovery, The Jefferson Awards, The Antarctic Biennale, The River Fund, The Fortune Society and The Botanical Gardens. Matthew is Chairman of the New York Global Young Leaders Dialogue
